Continuing our conversation with Dr. Mary Barson, today we discuss different types of meditation - and it's not necessarily what you might expect!

Getting deeper into the weight loss in this episode, Dr. Mary will discuss how to reduce stress, heal metabolic disorders, and the science of a real food diet.  Dr. Mary's own challenges with PCOS were healed with eating what she calls "real foods."

The most common symptoms of being insulin resistance include:
Carbohydrate/sugar cravings
Feeling tired after meals
Feeling the need to eat to boost your energy
Weight gain around the abdomen
Fatigue in the afternoon

Dr. Mary has a wealth of knowledge about insulin and metabolism and what to do to regulate yours.
