Dr. Travis Fox takes us on an exciting journey to break free from failure, guiding you on your path to success. His goal is to help clear that negative talk, self-sabotage, change your mindset “heartset”, in order to have extreme confidence in yourself to excel in business.

Dr. T believes that as we grow, we are "untaught" the creativity we need to really thrive in life.  Research and science has shown that by allowing yourself to daydream and fantasize, then pair the fantastical with actionable steps, people are able to abandon doubts, get rid of insecurities, and embark on new journeys.

Personal and business lives aren't separate anymore. We need fantasy and fun in order to really live a fulfilled life, and Dr. T has helped develop an app called Ultimate Business Quest.

Dr. Travis Fox:

Thank you. You know, every time I hear that introduction, I always go, are they talking about. Does that, does that mean they're talking, oh, gee, I guess it is. Wow. That's kind of a trip. So thank you for reminding me. Yeah. Thank you for reminding me of the journey. I'd. Come on

Magic Barclay:

now. Tell us a little bit about these Emmy award nominations.

Dr. Travis Fox:

Uh, I've been nominated five times and finally one, I think they probably gave it to me to say, all right, Fox, go away. Uh, when you've done great job, uh, as it Emmys for me, it was always about capturing content and context in a way that was highly engaging. And the Emmy nominations came from multiple different projects we had done. One was part of the whole river dance. A series called beyond Celtic with Michael Laundre and then the other one was for the fab four. And we ended up winning, uh, even though we were nominated multiple times for each of those, those multiple shows, we ended up winning for Fab 4, um, which is great. It's still running on television today. It's gotten now last I checked it was over 14,000 hours of TV time and, uh, I was the producer for that entire event for the fab four. And, uh, they said, Hey, you did it right. You got the production, right? You got the cinematography. It was eight cameras. We captured over a three-day period with live audience in real time. Uh, which always makes it fun to do a live audience capture. And, uh, it's been a part of my journey. It's part of what we do and how we combine the, you know, the fantastical world and with actionable experiences where people can experience both fantasy and reality. Simultan. Cause that's really what makes it fun.

Magic Barclay:

I love that. And I think, you know, so many people think that reality and fantasy are so far apart, but they're really not because what you put out there, you create. So it starts as a fantasy and becomes a real.

Dr. Travis Fox:

Absolutely a matter of fact. Well, what we do in the ultimate business quest is that exact concept, right? So, you know, when you think about fantasy, when people think about fantasy, they often go to the lowest common denominator, we'll call that the sexual fantasy, right? That's not what we mean. What I mean by fantasy is the subconscious and even deeper level of the shadow unconscious because that's where really our unrealized potential live. So ultimate business quest is in the business of igniting transformational change. Now we do this very differently. We do it by delivering business basics with, along with practical coaching, but it's presented in the immersive world of fantasy game play. And the reason that we're willing to go on that quest and people doing that is because you're exactly right. We are blurring. The lines that we have created this ocean of separation of fantasy and reality. And when you do that, it's a powerful tool for stoking. The imagination really created deep, impactful inspiration, and this is how you take and level up your business and your life. It feels like a fantasy until it comes true. Now, people try to call it. Law of attraction. They try to externalize them like timeout. You are the architect of your life, but you have been conditioned to believe that fantasizing or daydreaming or going into the depths of your subconscious, going into the realms of where your unrealized potential is waiting is a bad thing. We've been conditioned out of that. And yet the reality is science has proven now over the last 50 years, by fusing the fantastical with actionable, we actually empower people to literally abandon doubts, get rid of their insecurities and their misconceptions, and they take on the journey and most important. The journey of embarking on new possibilities. And that's when we shake up their reality because we have to, in order to achieve that with as possible, we have to escape the reality we're currently in. And the only way to do that is to drop into our fantasy land, which is our subconscious and our shadow. And why, because it's fun when you realize that it's fun to do that now, creating isn't this big laborious, heavy thing. Just like you did when you were a kid and then you start to transform to what abundance really means. And the law of attraction really means it's not this. Hey, I posted on a wall or I write in my journal and it was mysteriously fall out of the sky. That's just mine trying to mess with itself or what we call mental masturbation. You're just messing with your own head, right? Where the ultimate business quest is about a newfound gateway to unending achievement, because the truth is. All of the potential is already there within you. It's not living up to your potential. In fact, it's not even about you being a better you, it's about you finally being you, the beautiful misfit that you are because in your miss fitness is exactly where your mastership lives and that's how you start creating real success in all realms of your life.

Magic Barclay:

I love that. That is so passionate and a very different. To what I've heard before. So fantastic. Now, Dr. T I asked people who come on the podcast, the same three questions. So here's my first one, because I love hearing all the different answers. And I think the listeners get so much out of so many different perspectives. So what can your expertise do to accelerate health? Now when we talk health, we're talking not just the physical, but the emotional and the spiritual.

Dr. Travis Fox:

Yeah, I think the simplest answer that is by framing the journey of what we do in the quest. We are, we do a thing called the BPR, which is called your business, personal relationship. Many of us think that our business life and our personal life are separate. Those days have been gone since way back in the 1980s. They're gone and even more so in today's world, as we come out of this new world called post pandemic, there is no such thing as me and my business are. They're one. In fact, if you're really going to be the king and queen of the realm and claim your throne, you will come to the ultimate conclusion that you know, the world doesn't revolve around you necessarily, but you are the center of your world. Therefore, we have to frame a journey of skill development, psychological, emotional, or business, personal relationship. However you want to frame it for your language skills and like high level insight. With fun and fantasy. That's the only way we're going to accelerate our learning. And we're going to take these principles and we're going to apply them to real life. Now, the challenge is our emotions are generally. Cognitively consciously sought to be manipulated by our conscious mind, but what we feel down in the depth of who we really are, are completely different. And we find ourselves with one foot on the brake and one foot on the gas and we wonder why we never really get where we want to go. And we get stuck. In this beautiful desert of mediocrity, our skills pop you into that place of fantasy, take you on the guided quest where you're having fun and you can access it 24 hours a day because it's all in an app on your phone. Right. And then it's like literally scrolling through a guide system because no one needs to teach you anything. You already know everything inside, but what we can do is help guide you to remember who you are, not who you think you're supposed to be. And remember the misfit in you, the part of you that you have been stuffing down compressing or suppressing or oppressing since middle school is exactly what your business needs. It's exactly what your relationship needs. It's exactly what you need. The stop being in conflict with yourself. And that's where our emotional conflicts come into play both in our personal life and our business life. And that line gets blurred where half the time we're taking our personal stuff into our business and we're bringing our personal, our business life into our personal, and we don't know the forest from the trees and we just get lost. And then we subscribe to the desert of mediocrity. And that's what the quest is all about. Is this whole skillset igniting fantasy game play because if life is an adventure, shouldn't business, be.

Magic Barclay:

Fantastic. And oh my God, my brain was just skipping out then with so many thoughts. I love it. So, Dr. T what are your top three tips to creating wealth? We're not just talking financial here. We're talking personal and emotional wealth as well.

Dr. Travis Fox:

Yeah, but top tip from me. People, can I go sidebar on the, come back and ask the question? So I'll give you a context of the content. Would that be fair? Okay. So let's, let's play this game for all the listeners out there in the podcast right now, heads up. So let's think about success anorexia or success starvation. When you look at those words and you get a kind of an emotional response to it, what do you mean? Well, let's talk about values. So let's maximize this comment and I'm going to maximize this in generalities so we can have a base plate for conversation. Generally, for example, men are valued wised by their success in material, business, acquisition, their money, their wealth, their clout, if you will. But if they don't have that in a level that they think is sustainable or they. They is, is sustainable. Then you're not really worth anything. And we start having this deep emotional structure inside that says, well, I'm not worth$1.2 billion. I haven't created this legacy thing yet. Therefore, my value isn't really there. And because it doesn't feel good, we actually move away from what doesn't feel good. And we start doing things that are mundane, like surfing the internet or social media to look for other things that are inspirational or more fun than the feeling of. Now flip that for women generally over history, women have been valued by thereby. Their physical body is what was upper possessional purchasing galleries are arranged marriages, et cetera, with men who had material wealth success. So when you look at that hierarchy of value, so what happens if you don't have the perfect body? You're not the, you know, the. Supermodel body. What they know is negative two waist size and blah, blah, blah. Well, then all of a sudden you start de-valuing yourself. As, as a woman to say, well, I'm not valuable enough because I'm not pretty enough. I'm not sexy enough. My, my breasts aren't this and my butt. Isn't that. And then we start looking at those two things. Now let's backpedal. None of that is really what your value is based in, but that is what psychologically we live in. So therefore our emotions are constantly in this dungeon, literally in the dungeon of our castle of, I don't want to feel that. So I'm going to stuff that down and distract myself with a bunch of other stuff that makes me feel better at the moment. What if we shifted that entire model and said, timeout, your value is based on your choice. To discover your epic self within and doing that through the secret portal. That is the success of this world. And that's a three letter word called. That's it fun, right? How do I make this fun? Because here's the real law of attraction, law of abundance. And I know a little bit about this family because I was one of the co-producers and one of the costars in the SQL to the secret called beyond the secret, which was released last year, as you heard at the top of the hour, someone saying I'm an expert, I have a little bit of insight into this. And one of the things that I really impart upon people is it's about fun because when you're having fun, You will do anything. You'll slay dragons. You'll build empires both in the fantasy world. And in the reality world, you will transform yourself instantaneously. You will understand how to discover success in any aspect of your life, business, personal relationship. The best part about fun is as a three-prong approach. One, it can never, ever, ever run out. You can never run out of fun. You can't. Ben as much fun as your lifetime can consume. You'll never run out of it too. No one needs to teach you how to have fun. We need may need to remind you how to stop being a stuffy old adult. That's true, but no one needs to teach you how to apply. It's innately within you and number. You can never run out of it. It can never be taken from you. It can never be stolen from you and you can turn it on, on a dime. You can literally be abundant because you already are. And when you have that as your abundance, then it becomes infectious because everybody else wants to have fun because we're all in this big thing called the theme park of lights. And we want to ride every ride, spin on all the rides, try all the cotton candy, experience everything because as the great Alan Watson. Life doesn't define death, death defines life, and therefore to discover the ultimate business success or emotional success or personal relationship success, you've got to complete this quest to rescue yourself from not having fun from being an adult from being so professional. And so. Because the reason you're doing that is because you were educated to do it. And you've been on a quest to become a professional. Here's the burden of proof. If you look at your education and I don't care where you were educated on the planet, it's relatively the same. We have an elementary school, we have some sort of middle school and we have a high school that roughly equates to feel about a 12 year cycle. If you look at the base plate of those 12 years, the thematic sequence that goes along with that, and the algorithm that runs it is called. You would know that as being a child or a teenager about enjoying, having fun while we're doing this and then mysteriously, we graduate high school. And now all of a sudden we've got to become. Here's the problem. We have no roadmap, no blueprint, no fricking idea. What the heck it means to be an adult because we've just spent the last 17 years mastering having fun. And all of a sudden we have to go out into the world and find our path. And find our purpose and find our soulmate and find what our life's mission is to leave some sort of legacy behind that our life actually had some value. The problem is while you're out finding all that stuff, external thinking, that's where your abundance really lives. You slowly kill yourself from not having fun and you wake up and you're 50, 67 years old and go, damn, I missed it. So the first rule is the law of abundance is fun.

Magic Barclay:

I completely agree. And I often have that thought to myself. Where's the fun. So recently I've been heading out to here in Australia, we do a thing called stand in the park and it sounds like simple concept, but I don't know if you know what's been happening here. I'm not going to go into it, but it's kind of, yeah. Kind of a bit crazy. As a silent protest for our rights and our freedoms, we do a stand in the park. And what that entails is a barbecue with a whole bunch of families and kids playing on scooters and with balls and, you know, babies crawling around in the grass and the mums and dads, all talking and teenagers joining in. And it's kind of like, it used to be, you know, back in the eighties when you'd have a barbecue with the neighborhood. And I, I realized that was a great source of fun because we're out in the sun, we're all having a chat. We're not talking about what's happening in the world at the moment. We're just chatting and we're watching the kids play and the dogs, you know, run around in the park and that innocent, fun. I think we've all kind of lost sight.

Dr. Travis Fox:

I agree a hundred percent. I mean, let let's, let's take this into two realms simultaneously to your commentary and yes, what is happening down there is unconscionable. We'll just leave it at that. Right. And I have many students who graduate students for down there and it blows my mind because. I mean from years, decades, Aussie land was that's the place you go to play. These are, Hey, you know, have a walkabout chill. No worries. I mean, all of those things, which are somewhat stereotypical, but it is really the culture of that land. Ultimately, you know, that better than I do, but my multiple times being there, I've always had a great experience and to see that completely turned on its on its head is wow, but then you really go, well, wait a minute. What if we did this? We know. That the imagination is powered by research. We've done so much work as a species to discover the fantasy realm and the power of our unconscious and our self-conscious. We've all heard the iceberg analogy of here's the 10% above the surface and here's the 90%, but here's the part we don't talk about a whole. Right. And that is the benefits of novelty and gamifying goals. And imagine that rehearsal has been researched so many times going really hardcore back to the seventies, but it's been used with this kind of wildfire success in education and wellness and productivity, and even neuroscience. And it engages all sides of the brain for the imagination. Now this is where we get into the untapped possibilities, but see, untapped possibilities is programmed generally by most people as not living up to your potential. Those are two very, very different comments. So when we get into engaging to all sides for a holistic approach, for real, with the imagination allows these untapped possibilities and real novel learning, learning, not education learning that brings these concepts to this vibrant. Which has really, you know, we're going to define Australia. It's known for the vibrant life of outdoor community. That's highly engaged and involved with, with its natural surroundings. And then we did develop these. Gamified triggers and reward seeking mechanisms that give us these dopamine effects in our brain that you would know as feeling good. It's in short studies have shown that fun and novelty equals very simple supercharged. Aren't even the next level of productivity. It's that simple now. And that's a really clinical way of saying. Well, how the hell can we make this fun? Even in the situation that Australia is at end of the world at large, for that matter, how do we make it fun? Well, we have this beautiful thing called online now, clearly in point, we're doing that right now for this beautiful podcast. We've learned all these new different. Communicate. And it's opened up all these different possibilities. I mean, we see, look, what's happening to, you know, our social media. We are now moving into this other bursts. If I may be so bold, we've got NFTs floating all over the place who knew art would become digital. Why? Because we're gamifying and we're doing imaginative rehearsal. And we know that this creates success and the model that we have been doing for the last, oh, I don't know, call it two centuries for rap. Is really bass ackwards. And this is where we really get into this concept of wait a minute, fantasy and reality are identical. But the question is what is the sequence that we use past history? We've used reality to fantasy, and we've created an ocean apart saying that you need to move more and more away from fantasy and move more into reality of being an adult and a professional. And what the heck effort yet research is showing and has shown for the better part of the last 50 years when we rehearsed. In the fantasy realm when we are in the depths of the unrealized, potentially untapped possibilities, which doesn't have any rules, it will literally map into our external reality as though it's always been. So then I invite all of us to really look at what does our understanding of our, our, our framework and stop listening to what they say and listening to how it feels internal. And you don't have to go. We will here and shave your head and, you know, have an orange robe and sit on the side of a mountain and chant all day to come to this. Then this awareness it's simply coming back to the truth. The truth is you are already a massive. You were a master when you came on this planet and it has been slowly conditioned out you to believe in what you naturally did as a child, you imagined you playing, you didn't have to go well, you know, let me think about how do I, how do I play a superhero? Um, Hmm. Should I get Cape or maybe I should put some fancy colors on it. You just did it. And man, you jumped right into it and you were vibrant and you were alive and you were present. And that creates this beautiful thing between fantasy and rally of emotional balance and emotional balance is infectious because people go, man, I want to feel that kind of peace again, not, I want to feel it like you've never felt it before. I want to feel it again. And here's the thing when you're looking to achieve or to go on an adventure or to go do an experience. It's a puzzle. It's a map and business is just another puzzle game and we've got the map to it. We've also got the map and several other realms. You had the map once when you came into this world to naturally create the adventure of a lifetime. And you got on somebody else's map, which is called conformity and non creativity and logic, and they have their value. Don't get me wrong. But when used in the correct sequencing, then all of a sudden, guess what happens. Now, you've got a framework that's built on fable that slays it in the real world. And it makes it fun because you're constantly present. You're constantly in creative mode and having fun because again, the law of the land is fun. That's abundance.

Magic Barclay:

And that was going to be a question I was going to ask, but thank you, you answered it. And that was at what point in time do we go from being kids having fun to being these serious stuffed up, locked up. Old people basically when there's a switch in the line somewhere where that happens. But as you said, you start following someone else's ideas and someone else's map to it. So thank you for clarifying that.

Dr. Travis Fox:

Yeah. And put a fine point on it. It's really simple where it comes in. It comes in right as we get ready to graduate high school for most, because we've and think about this, you've spent. 17 years of your life, no matter what age you currently are now listening to the podcast right now, you spent roughly 16 to 18 years of your life. Mastering being a child, fun imagination, being a cheerleader, being a quarterback, being an artist, being a mechanic, you were having fun because you were told that's when you get to explore and to discover what you, wait for, it, really like doing. And then there's right. Turns you Greg. All of a sudden, they hand you this other set of rules that says, whoa, whoa, whoa. Okay, Travis, here's the deal. You're no longer allowed to have fun. You now need to go to university. You need to study hard, get this degree, get yourself in a stable job, start making some money so you can develop a family. Well, wait a minute. I have no idea how to do any of that. In fact, I'll even put a finer point on it. Most of us come out of high school before we even get into university and we're educated, really brilliant, but we're lifestyles. We have no idea how to negotiate an apartment, lease or buy a car, or even how to build a resume. We don't even know how to talk about our own emotions and deal with ourselves until the finer point on a global scale right now, and watch over the next 24 months, it's already happening here in the United States. I'm quite sure it's happening in Aussie land and many other parts around the world. We have a tsunami. Coming towards us of mental health destruction of our children that are going to go through this post pandemic experience that we are watching these kids from this isolation and from this de socialization and from the control mechanisms, the mental health problems that are going to come out of this are unprecedented in known history. And no one, and I may repeat no one on this planet has the answer to how to solve that. And we're all just standing around going well, I hope it works itself out. Well, I'm not willing to risk that on the next generation because that generation is going to set the tempo for the next two generations after that. So we really have to start looking at how are we educating ourselves, quote unquote, versus what are we learning? And what we're really doing is becoming educatedly intelligent. And we are teaching people to unlearn. At the most precious and most powerful time in their life, which is that early stages, imprint stages and applicational stages. We're teaching them to unlearn what they already knew instinctively as opposed to fostering that and creating experiential instruction. Whether in business, whether in emotional, whether in self-transformation through actionable allegory and combine the fantasy and the reality and science with what we call

life

Magic Barclay:

Couldn't agree more. And I try not to, uh, be, I guess, an agitator on this podcast as I would get cold here in Australia, but looking at children in the post pending. Situation. They've lost basic communication. They've lost basic language. So every primate, in fact, every animal learns language, not the spoken language, but facial language and the kids aren't learning that. So what happens in the future when they don't know what a face is supposed to look like, and they can't get that hidden. Expressive language. And I can just see, like you said, a tsunami of mental health issues coming because these kids won't know the foundations of life.

Dr. Travis Fox:

Yeah. Foundation. Yep. Love will be a foreign concept. Why? Right. I mean, and begin and start with the simplest of love. Self-love. Simple. And that's pretty girls. Our hierarchy of value system says, you know, you put you last do unto others as you would do unto yourself. Well, how come we do better to others than we do to ourselves that doesn't make a dang bit of sense. It's like, we're so contradictory. And that's because we're told that being self-centered is a bad thing. Okay, but then let's be centered in self. That's a completely different model. When I'm centered in myself. I'm really crystal clear on what feels good to me, what feels right for me and what bills fund it for me, because I understand, again, that time is a very temporal thing. We all have a date with destiny and there's no way around it, regardless of your material success, your physical success doesn't matter. We're all gonna, there's only one truth on this planet and that is none of us leave this planet alone. Now the question is, do we really live? But again, when you're igniting that from a fantasy game play, and you understand that the ultimate life quest starts with the simplest of our business quest, because it's something we can see tangibly. It's something that can move more quickly because that's something we've been conditioned to believe. But what if we say that across the board emotionally, psychologically, spiritually. Parenting our physical body would be, we would be willing to do it. And I mean, when you really look at this, you're absolutely correct. It's not about us learning. It's about us unlearning all of this BS that not unlike a secret scroll of the ancient wisdom that's been, you know, discovered. Desert in the middle of nowhere about this untold power. It's really disguise this thing that we call science now, right? You can do that. Do things like, uh, an app. We can do this online. Like we're doing it now. We can do these things where the traditional model that we have known here to for must change, but it's got to change from what we call the emotional compulsion or the ISI formula. And when you understand the DC formula, man, it makes it easy to get out of your own bloody way, because the truth is that's, what's really happening. And then through that, getting out of your own way, now you're on this beautiful adventure. And guess what you get to discover this epic self that was who you believed. You could be, whatever you wanted to be whenever you wanted to be it when you were a young child and before it got literally hypnotized out of you to believe that you are not epic, that you need to fit in when fitting not fitting in. We all know that doesn't work quite the opposite. It's the misfit in you that you've been trying to not be. That is the secret portal to out of this world success, because that piece, that unique misfit mastered that you are fits into this human puzzle that we call the human tapestry at this time of our, our journey on this, on this planet called the 21st century. So when you look at that and you go, wait a minute, And this, this could be a whole lot easier. I can go out and make a lot of money. I can slay a bunch of dragons and I can build empires in the fantasy land. And then the blur that right into the real world, because then you begin to understand that they are one in the same.

Magic Barclay:

Definitely. Thanks. Okay, Dr. final question. Now, obviously we're all about weight loss here as well. It's something that people battle quite needlessly for much of their lives. And I love how you mentioned earlier, how women are definitely judged on their size, that leads to most of this battle. So my question is. Have you ever battled your weight? And if so, what was the trigger to losing it? And we're also talking here about key issues causing weight problems, like stress. So even if you haven't battled physical weight, was there any way that stress or weight have played an issue in your lives?

Dr. Travis Fox:

The answer is dualistic. Uh, here's why for the last 31 years, my personal weight workshop program has done tens of thousands of people around the world. And it is a completely different model. Uh I've I battled my weight for my personal body. Yes. Would I tell you that I'd been ever been, you know, morbidly obese or I've been 80, 90, a hundred pounds over what would be an ideal body? No, because I'm a tall lanky, six foot, two person. But I have gotten to spaces where my emotional balance was so out of whack, that it manifested into my physical body where I was carrying an extra 20 or 30 pounds of weight, which for my frame felt like the weight of the world on my shoulders. So when you look at emotions, one of the things that we're constantly battled on it, but it goes back to value systems is if you don't have a negative to way size with a 36 B cup bras, And, you know, uh, a small rear end that you could bounce a quarter off of you're considered not beautiful. And I'm like, says who and yet we hear these, um, these isms that go throughout our life. One of those is, you know, beauty is only skin deep. Okay. Well, if it's only skin deep, why are we so focused on it? Right. W what does that mean? The beauty, how do we then view beauty? But we also look at weight. Weight is often two things I found in my three decade career one it's emotional padding from emotional hurts. So my physical weight makes it more and more difficult for you to get through that external barrier to get to my heart, because my heart's already been with. Simultaneously and concurrently that weight gain from an internal to an external often comes from the stuffing of emotional baggage. Anger, guilt, frustration, resentment, shame, not feeling good enough, not being the perfect person, not living up to my potential, so on and so forth. And we stuck those emotions down literally by eating, but emotionally and psychologically by putting something in our mouth. So we can't literally. Cough it up, puns intended. Now do this over a period of time. Call it one, two, three, four years, and you've added 30, 40, 50 pounds. Now what makes it really easy is your body is truly a roadmap. Puns intended the quest of you inside to go, where am I holding onto those emotions? Where am I holding onto those beliefs? Because the truth is your body is the most malleable work of art in the known solar system that we are aware of, or even in the known universe of that matter, your body can transform itself on a. The body's generally not the issue. It's the mind because the mind says, oh, working out sucks or walking sucks or going on a diet, which by the way, I agree psychologically subconsciously when you hear the word diet, your brain automatically goes DIA. Di, well, you have a little thing in your subconscious called survival at all costs and surviving through life. Quote unquote, by starving yourself, your subconscious goes, yeah, I'm going to let this go for about five or 10 pounds, and then you're gonna hit that yo-yo effect where you're going to stop. And the, no matter how little you eat, you'll actually gain more weight because subconsciously your subconscious knows you're trying to starve it. So it says, okay, well, you can only eat Bonilla, wafer rice cakes for whatever three times a day as your form of diet, but I'm going to store every piece of that food in our body, because I don't know when you're going to feed me next. So weight loss, as an example, start with the psychological word law. Who wants to lose anything, even if your conscious intention says, I want to lose weight and I've always responded the same. When people go, I want to lose weight. I'm like, great. Are you a loser by. And of course the answer is no. How do you expect to lose weight? But you can let go of it, which is a dualistic approach, both the conscious decision level, but also the subconscious choice level where I'm changing the belief structure. I no longer need this. I no longer need to understand that I need to fit into something puns intended. I need to fit into my jeans. I need to fit into what the cool click is. I need to fit into what it's supposed to look like as opposed to what. I feel like to us and we start changing our value system from the inside out weight drops off, like you've taken off a parish, led boots and shoes. It just drops. And it happens because your body is designed for optimal. It's designed because if it can gain all that weight and transform itself into a, a different body, it can transform itself into something. But we often tend to believe that that only goes a 1 0 1 way street. We only gain weight and it's really hard to let go of it. I'm like says who it's actually easier to let go of it than it is the gaining burden of proof. When we're younger, trying to put on muscle is really, really difficult, but putting on some extra weight, well, fat isn't all we have to do is eat a bunch of junk food. But if you're eating a bunch of junk foods, then you have to ask yourself where we're back to this again. How come my value is based on. What I look like how much money I make, what click I'm a part of? Do I an online, am I the cool kids, click how I dress? And we do all of these self judgements. And all of a sudden we get stuck in the wizard of our mind as opposed to being who we really are. And next thing you know, our judgment system is so intense that it's painful to even look in the mirror because as soon as you do. The voices in your head start ripping you apart. And it becomes very painful. And that's where most await really lives is. We judge ourselves by what we see, because our value system is based on the physicality and not who you are. And that's where we get into the shift.

Magic Barclay:

That is so perfect. Thank you. Now, Dr. T we've asked all our questions. Is there anything you'd love to leave our listeners with any little nuggets that you can think of?

Dr. Travis Fox:

Oh, my Lord. We could be here for another five hours. I mean, now I'm in passion now. I mean, you want, you might want to narrow that down just a little bit for me. Cause I'll just keep going. I'm like, okay, how much time do we have 40 hours? Let's go 40 hours is great. Let's do this.

Magic Barclay:

Okay. So let's give the listeners three parting small pieces of wisdom.

Dr. Travis Fox:

Yeah, I think the basic one. And I'm going to keep hammering this one because it really is. You know what the base plate of my work for 30 years, which has called, you know, um, for verse hypnotic, the math learning, which is a really fancy way of saying, Hey, when you understand the themes that are going on inside, right. And that it's really easy to identify. Once you understand the theme, you can start understanding the quest that you need to go on for yourself and for your business or your personal, or your relationship or your weight, or however you're choosing to apply it. Because now I understand where my, like my true north is. So for example, if your theme is. That I'm seeking. I want to have fun and everything that I do. It's a simple measure of result, you know, is, is going on a podcast fun? Yes or no. Does it feel fun? Yes. I'm going to go do it. If it's not fun, then you can simply ask the question. What does it take to make this fun? Because again, business life personal is just another. Now we played those games. When we were kids, we have puzzles and we had games because we were taught how to have fun and good. And we all games have a map. Well, life has a map too. The question is, do you want to take that map or do you want to go? And just, as I say, I believe in this and all this land, take a walk about out, out into the Outback and just wander around and I've been to the Outback wandering around. You can eat by a crock, there's all kinds of things out there that can tear you up because you're in a different realm that you don't have a frame of reference for, or. Yep. The other thing is, so we have fun. Then you can start focusing on having fun and achieving fun. And then what that can be, guess what happens? You start to fall in love with yourself again, and you find that hero within you because we're all Kings and Queens. We've all have a, a legacy to leave behind. And we all, you know, really get to understand that the real magic of this life, the real magic is when the point of purposeful collision occurs I'm colliding with what my brain has been programmed to believe as a computer. Versus what I know in my mastership is correct. Where do you call your masters? If you can call that your gut, you can call that your heart. You can call that your warrior. You can call that your gesture, your, your T your center, you call it whatever you want. Right. The bottom line is there is a science in the construction. There's an artistry in your presentation. And the magic is in the whole experience that you call your life. And that starts with the central access of fun challenge yourself in the most beautiful ways to have fun. Because many times we don't even realize we're having fun in that age. Old adage comes to play, and we can, we can add to that part on this one. And that is time flies when you're having. We all know that. Well then why wouldn't you want your time at work or at business or your personal development taking care of your body and your being taking you time? Why wouldn't you want that to be a fun, pleasurable experience? And we all will they'll drive us, you know? Well, what about working out? It hurts. Yeah, I know our CEO is actually a body Billy body building competitor and back. Her next show is coming up here in about four or five days from when we're having the time of this. We all sympathy train with her. Why? Because yes, it's painful, but you know what you've heard that age say hurt so good. Cause I you're going to have pain in your body. You're going to have pain in your body from disease. You're gonna have pain from discomfort. You're gonna have pain from muscles, not being exercised and atrophied, or you can have a pain that hurts so good because you chose to exercise and to work your muscles out. Why not choose a pain? That feels good and go with the adage of hurt. So good. Make it hurt so good. So either way we can constantly bring it back to fun. And then when you get into that space, we go, Hmm. This could become an epic journey because I don't know what I don't know, because if I knew what I knew, I wouldn't. Right because it's not fun, but that's how we keep constantly putting the adventure back in our life. Remember your number one quest right now for all of you listening to this podcast is to make the choice to rescue yourself from the desert of mediocrity that you have found yourself in wandering around, looking for your passion, looking for your purpose, looking for your soulmate, looking, looking, looking, looking only you don't have a roadmap to. Okay, well, again, we've got to go back to what is the base plate of abundance, fun. You know how to do it. We know that science and the fantasy realm of the unconscious and the subconscious, where all things are created from and the fantasy. Reality. And that is when you'd get to rediscover the beautiful hero of your own life, the beautiful, beautiful master that you always have been. And the beautiful misfit of you, the things that you had been trying to stuff down since middle school that you thought weren't cool, that made you a dork, or that made you a geek or the made you a nerd. All of those things, the names that we are called as a kid, that we try to smooth those rough edges out those rough edges. Are the most rewarding path you could ever discover now because a it's exactly what your business needs. It's exactly what your relationship needs. It's exactly what the world and the human tapestry of life needs is for you to be that beautiful, jagged little edge that multi-part puzzle piece that only you could fit in. And again, I'll leave you with this. It's no longer, and it's never been about you being a better. It's about you just being you. There is no better you when better you compared to what you're constantly in a state of not good enough when you're in that frame. If you're having fun, you will naturally create and. Form yourself, your business, your relationship. And that's what the ultimate business quest is about. It's about on a global scale, because if we don't make business fun again and we don't make life fun again, then what in the hell are we doing on this planet? And it's time to get back and discover that business hero, that personal hero and a most rewarding way, because the truth is you're only going to get to do it once in this body, regardless of your belief structure. And your ideology your divinity, the fact is you're only going to come in this body one time. So please make the choice, make business fun, again, make your life experience and experience it because when it's gone, it's gone. Like the Musk said, life doesn't define death, death defines life. Life it's coming for us all. Life is a choice. Death is eminent.
